Outgoing Secretary of Public Relations Mishra given Emotional Farewell

Outgoing Secretary of Public Relations Department Mr. Santosh Mishra was given an emotional farewell by department officials and employees today. In a small programme organized in a local hotel, Mr. Santosh Mishra said in his address- I am glad that I could fulfill my duties with the support of all the officials and employees. He said that apart from the traditional media, nowadays new media is also playing crucial role in effective publicity of government’s public welfare schemes. New media was a big challenge, but everyone’s support, state government’s schemes and programmes have successfully marked their presence on social media in last one year. He thanked all the officials and employees for working together with team spirit.

Director and Joint Secretary Public Relations Mr. Rajesh Sukumar Toppo said that many important initiatives were taken in Public Relations Department in the tenure of Mr. Santosh Mishra. He said that earlier government had limited activity on social media. On the initiative taken by Mr. Mishra, a new infrastructure has been established for social media presence of the government, as result of which government’s schemes and programmes are being effectively publicized in public interest. This has created a new identity of Chhattisgarh on social media. Before this, Director Public Relations Mr. Toppo presented bouquet to Outgoing Secretary Mr. Santosh Mishra and wished for his bright future. Mr. Toppo also presented memento to Mr. Mishra, on behalf of Department officials and employees.

On the occasion, Additional Director of Public Relations Department and Additional CEO of Chhattisgarh Samvad Mr. JL Dariyo, Joint Director Mrs. Jamuna Sandiya, Mr. Sanjeev Tiwari, Mr. Alok Dev, Mr. Vipin Kishore Tigga, Mrs. Harsha Pauranik, and officials-employees of Public Relations Department and Chhattisgarh Samvad were also present.
