Raipur, November 6
Aiming to regain lost ground by creating terror among mass, armed naxals killed a villager by holding ‘Jan Adalat’ (people’s court) in insurgency-hit Kanker district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
The incident took place at village Etagaon falling in limits of Amabeda police station, added police.
According to a senior police officer, the deceased has been identified as Motilal Vaidya (43). A group of armed naxals-led by secretary of Korar area committee Raje stormed into the house of 43-year-old villager and dragged him to forest by branding him as police informer.
