Naxal leaders are the biggest enemy of poor, backwards and tribal
Dantewada, May 12
What these naxal leaders do here, they recover huge sum of money and send their children bigger colleges and universities in the country and overseas. Do they want, tribal students to study in classroom by sitting on floor, remain uneducated lifelong, do not get opportunity for education and stay poor, said Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Rajnath was addressing a public gathering before flagging-off Vikas Yatra today in Dantewada. Later, Rajnath flagged-off the Vikas Yatra by showing green flag to ‘Vikas Rath’ of Chief Minister Raman Singh.
“I believe that naxal leaders are the biggest enemy of poor, backwards and tribal here, they try to mislead people but we have also decided to visit backward areas, install mobile towers, develop roads, electricity, medical and education facilities by clearing every obstacles,” stated Rajnath.
He further added that government in Chhattisgarh has done commendable work for the progress of state as well as its public, but certain forces here didn’t want development in such a pace. The naxal and maoists force try to misguide tribal but I want to mention here and also express gratitude towards them that tribal have displayed an exemplary courage and decided of not deviating from mainstream of the society.
Highlighting the works done by Raman Singh-led BJP government in the state, Rajnath said not only in India, people from overseas says that Chief Minister Raman Singh has done what that people in the state are getting rice at the rate of Rs 1 per kg that too without any corruption.
“I have visited every district of Chhattisgarh. In 2003 I was the incharge of this state, (now the post is held by Dr Anil Jain) and that time I have visited districts and even the block centres. Roads were in dilapidated condition and even not in existence, people were struggling for single drop of water, covering several kilometres on foot was the only option for youths to reach schools and colleges. Works done by Chief Minister Raman Singh here in short span of time is remarkable and I am very much confident that public in Chhattisgarh knows the truth that Raman Singh is the only CM here who determined to work for them,” pointed Rajnath.
The biggest power too cannot mislead public of Chhattisgarh, added Rajnath.
He further said that if asked by us, either it will be Chief Minister Raman Singh or Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone believe that unless deprived, backwards and tribal of any state are developed, development of that state cannot be imagined. Keeping the fact in mind, BJP-led government in the country has carried out development works linked to deprived, backwards and tribal.
Targeting Congress, Rajnath said that What Narendra Modi has done as a Prime Minister of India, can any PM from Congress claim the same. For first time history of independent India, PM Narendra Modi has expressed concern towards opening bank account of family which does not have house. PM Modi believe that not only TATA, Birla and Ambani should have bank accounts, even person who does not have shelter and tribal too have bank accounts.
Through this Vikas yatra, we will be establishing direct communication with public and highlight the development works being done by him as chief minister. Moreover, information about works needs to be done and problems being faced by them will be collected during this campaign so that it could be disposed off in future.
