Raipur, June 21
State MGNREGA Commissioner Mohd Kaiser Abdulhaq has issued a circular to the Collector-cum-District Program Coordinators (MGNREGA) of all districts regarding the nominations for Padma Awards that would be given on Republic Day next year 2023. He has informed in the circular that Government of India has invited online nomination proposals for Padma Awards such as Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri on the website https://awards.gov.in/Login. Last date for sending the nomination proposal is 15 September 2022. Only nominations/recommendations received online will be considered.
MNREGA Commissioner has informed in the circular that the legislation and rules related to these awards are available on https://www.padmaawards.gov.in. He has directed the Collectors to take necessary action in this regard within the prescribed time-limit. Government of India has called for nomination of the candidates for Padma Awards; people who have performed outstandingly in their fields, made significant achievements and are deserving of the honour.
