Commercial Tax Department Minister Mr. Amar Agrawal reviewed the department’s 2016-2017 revenue collections and the Department’s functioning . The officials gave a detailed presentation of revenue collections sector-wise, prominent collections from 50 businesses and revenues from various divisions. The meeting was informed that cases had been filed against those who have not paid tax during the past two years. About 8, 993 businesses had not submitted details of their accounts and charges had been filed against them. Department Principal Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Commissioner Mrs. Sangeeta P. and officers from various districts were also present.
