Immediate implementation of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement 

Meeting of Sarpanchs, Secretaries and Department Officials concerned held

Raipur, June 20

Implementation of the two new schemes announced by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been started from the very next day of announcement. A team of doctors and paramedics reached the market of Dantewada and organized a health check-up camp for people there.

Likewise, Chief Minister had also announced distribution of nutritious food to people of forest areas. For implementation of this announcement, a meeting of sarpanchs, secretaries of the gram panchayats and department officials concerned was held, where necessary guidelines in the context were issued.

It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh Government has launched pilot projects in Bastar under two new schemes- distribution of nutritious meal and mobile medical facilities in haat-bazaars. Chief Minister said that malnutrition-level in Bastar Division is the highest in state. We are committed to solve this problem. Under the new scheme of Chhattisgarh Government, people will be provided nutritious meals everyday through gram panchayats and women self-help groups. Initially this project will be started in a selected panchayats and later within a month, implementation of this scheme will be started in other districts of the state.
