First phase of State-wide Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan has commenced in full swing, which is collection of applications through camps. Chief Minister Dr Singh today visited one such application collection camp held in village Khaira of Bhatapara block and inspected the process. At the camp, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh directed the officials concerned to dedicatedly discharge their duties under Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan and ensure quick redressal of their grievances.
On request of villagers present at the camp, Chief Minister announced that 100 families will be allotted ‘aabaadi patta’ within a month. Chief Minister was pleased to see the nursery on the roadside. Dr Singh said that it is the first village he has seen, where roadside nurseries have been made and flowers of various species have been planted. Chief Minister expressed his joy saying that he would also send 100 saplings each of ‘mogra’ and ‘raatraani’.
Chief Minister announced sanction of Rs 40 lakh for construction of mini stadium construction and Rs 20 lakh for Atal Samrasta Bhavan. Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to distribute financial aid to drought-affected farmers under RBC 6 (4). Officials informed that the drought-affected farmers have received the first instalment of Rs 25 crores as financial aid. Chief Minister was happy to know that 378 households have been provided electricity connection under Pradhan Mantri Har Ghar Yojana (Subhagya).
