Raipur, October 29
Former journalist Vinod Verma, who was arrested by Raipur police in connection with an extortion case, was remanded in police custody till October 31 by a local court in Raipur this evening.
As per information received, Verma was produced in the court of JMFC S P Tripathi. He will be produced in the court on October 31.
It may be recalled that Verma was arrested by Raipur police Ghaziabad on October 27 in connection with an extortion case.
