Jain society: Chief Minister inaugurates JITO Covid Center

Raipur, September 16

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Jeeto COVID Center today via video conferencing from his residence office today. This well-equipped COVID Center has been started in partnership of JITO to (Jain International Trade Organization) and Chhattisgarh Government for providing COVID treatment facility to the patients at Jainam Manas Bhawan Raipur.

Jain society: Situated near to Raipur airport, this COVID Care Center has a provision of 200 beds. Along with the services of expert doctors, this center will provide free of cost food and accomodation facility to the COVID patients undergoing treatment.

Ministers- Ravindra Choubey, TS Singhdeo, Mohammad Akbar, Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam, Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Amarjit Bhagat, MLA Satyanarayana Sharma and other public representatives attended the inauguration program of Jeeto COVID Center online.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while inaugurating the JITO COVID Care Center, congratulated all the JITO officials. During corona crisis, JITO has carried forward the spirit of public service by establishing a well-equipped care center for COVID patients.

Chief Minister said that this step of JITO will inspire people of other communities as well to come forward and make generous contributions.

He said that with JITO’s initiative, we have taken one step further in the battle against COVID-19. With the cooperation of all sections of society, we will definitely win this battle.

Chief Minister further said that he does not think that any epidemic has affected the world on such a large scale before. During the lockdown, all sections of the society in Chhattisgarh state extended their support to help the migrant workers and the needy. The number of COVID cases were less initially. With the resumption of road, rail and air travel services, the number of COVID patients has been increasing continuously. Every effort is being made by the state government for providing better treatment to the COVID patients. Consistent efforts are being made to increase the number of beds in hospitals.

State government has appealed for participation from social organizations to serve and support the COVID patients in Chhattisgarh, said Chief Minister.

He congratulated JITO organization for their initiative in the direction.

Agriculture Minister Ravindra Chaubey and Health Minister TS Singhdeo also addressed the program and said that this effort of JITO is commendable. This will inspire other organizations and communities as well. On this occasion, National President of JITO organization Mr. Ganpat Rai Chaudhary thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for Chhattisgarh government’s support for operating the COVID Care Center in Raipur.
