On the occasion of International Yoga Day, mass yoga demonstration will be held at Indoor Stadium of capital city Raipur on June 21 Thursday. This programme will commence from 7am. Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will be attending this programme as Chief Guest. Union Minister of State for Electricity, New and Renewable Energy (Independent In-charge) Mr. RK Singh and Member of Lok Sabha from Raipur Mr. Ramesh Bais will preside over the programme. This programme is being jointly organized by Social Welfare Department and School Education Department. The programme will be attended by Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, Mayor Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Pramod Dubey, MLA Raipur Rural Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Raipur (North) MLA Mr. Shrichand Sundrani, Jila Panchayat Raipur President Mrs. Sharda Verma. Interested citizens are requested to wear simple and suitable attires for mass yoga demonstration.
