Indian Institute of Management Raipur is organizing a 6 day ‘Advance Leadership Program’ for the NMDC Ltd, to propagate and inculcate fresh thinking, knowledge enhancement, leadership, planning and other behavioral aspects. With an ever-changing, increasingly connected and competitive world, managers need to constantly update their knowledge and professional capabilities in all areas affecting their work and career. IIM Raipur will be training the Senior Executives of NMDC Ltd as a part of this six-days training program to be conducted at Hotel VW Canyon from 6th to 11th November 2017.

To expand the operations in the areas of Mining and Mineral Processing to meet the growing demands from domestic and international Markets, achieve international standards in per capita productivity, value addition and cost effectiveness. To improve the quality of life of people in general and socio- economic environment in and around the mines in particular.
About thirty technical officers, are attending this program. The participants include Joint General Managers, Deputy General Managers & Assistant General Managers from across entire organization.
Prominent topics that shall be covered in the program include: Assessing Self Strengths & Weakness; Developing a Strategy and its Implementation; Developing Personal mission vision and objectives Committing to the Organization; Building Effective Interpersonal Relations; Policy and Delivery Design in Public Sector; Building Teams and Collaborative Culture, Conflict Resolution; Ethics & Effective Leadership, Managing Work life Balance.
The objective of the program is to enable the participants to enhance their role as decision maker and understand the implications of finance, economics and strategy on analysis and planning. After this program the officers would be better equipped to converse the relevant financial and economic issues and will help them take better strategic decisions. The pedagogy will be a suitable combination of classroom lectures, interactive discussions, class exercises, case studies and experience sharing.
