Raipur, March 18
Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu attended a national-level review meeting of Chief Ministers chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding COVID-19 Vaccination Drive. Because of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s Assam tour, Home Minister of Chhattisgarh Sahu attended the meeting via video conference.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi inquired about the progress of COVID vaccination in all the states. He also inquired about the steps being taken by the states to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection and gave necessary instructions.
Along with the Home Minister, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Renu G. Pillai, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subrat Sahoo and Secretary Siddharth Komal Pardeshi also attended the video conference. From New Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and Family Welfare Rajesh Bhushan were also present in the video conference and they also inquired about the arrangements of the states.
