A sound mental health plays a huge role in one’s general well-being. Just like physical ailments, mental illness can also have an adverse effect on a person’s overall health. In the last few years, there has been a significant increase in the number of people dealing with mental issues. Some common symptoms of mental illness include irritability, tension, anxiety, fear, insomnia, depression and restlessness and a tendency to always feel helpless. Timely diagnosis and treatment of these symptoms is essential. For this, the help of psychiatrists and counselors should be taken.
