Four ultras including female cadre killed in encounter, firearms recovered

At least four cadres of outlawed organization, including a woman naxal, were killed in an encounter in insurgency-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.

A team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) undertaking anti-naxal exercise entered into an encounter with ultras in forest close to village Gumiyabeda falling in limits of Kukrajhor police station this afternoon, said police.

While undertaking search at the spot of encounter, security personnel recovered four bodies of naxal including a female cadre along with four firearms, said police, elaborating that operation is underway.
