Flag on independence day: Vidhan Sabha Speaker to hoist national flag in Korba

Ministers and Parliamentary Secretary nominated for flag hoisting ceremony in districts

Raipur, August 14

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be hoisting tricolor at the main event of Independence Day to be organized at Police Parade Ground in capital city Raipur on August 15. State Government has nominated ministers and parliamentary secretaries for citing Chief Minister’s message to public and for flag hoisting in District Headquarters on the occasion of Independence Day.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will hoist the nation flag at the Independence Day function to be held at Korba district headquarters, while Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu will hoist the tricolor at Mahasamund, Health Minister Shri T.S.Singhdeo in Balodabazar, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Chaubey in Durg, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar in Rajnandgaon, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia in Raigarh, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam in Bastar, Excise Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma Dhamtari, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria in Surguja, Food Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat in Balod, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel in Bilaspur, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal in Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi, and Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Guru Rudrakumar will unfurl tricolor in Janjgir-Champa and read the ‘Chief Minister’s message to the people of the state’ on the occasion.

In Minj Balrampur, Shri Vikas Upadhyay in Bemetara, Mr. Rekhachand Jain in Bijapur, Mr. Indrashah Mandavi in Dantewada, Mr. Vinod Sevanlal Chandrakar in Gariaband, Mr. Chintamani Maharaj in Jashpur, Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav in Kabirdham, Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad in Kanker Sori Kondagaon, Shri Parasnath Rajwada in Korea, Ms. Shakuntala Sahu in Mungeli, Mr. Gurudayal Singh Banjare in Narayanpur, Mrs. Ambika Singhdev in Surajpur district and Mr. Chandradev Prasad Rai in Sukma District Headquarters. Parliamentary Secretaries after hoisting tricolor in the Independence Day program organized on August 15, will read ‘Chief Minister’s message to the people of the state’
