A mega job fair for the youths seeking employment was organized by NIBF at their campus in Mana, Raipur on Friday in which over 3000 jobseekers were given a golden opportunity to grab an offer matching their qualification and skills in any of the 30+ nationally reputed participating companies from different sectors.
Esteemed organizations including but not limited to LIC, ICICI Bank, SBI Life, Axis Bank, DHFL, Paytm Mall, Bajaj Allianz and others which were the participating companies offered a plethora of profiles for which the qualification required ranged from Post-graduation to class VIII pass-out.
There was free-entry for the event and it was open for all. The jobseekers also accepted this opportunity with open arms and appeared in large numbers to get shortlisted in the preliminary rounds of selection. The enrollment procedure was transparent and fair. It entailed selection of certain companies by the candidate from the given list of companies based on the profiles being offered by them. Post this, the applicant had to submit hard copies of updated resume which were shared with the companies and based on the candidate’s profile, the company prepared a shortlist of selected applicants and called them for a face to face interview.
It is a well known fact that employment is a basic necessity for youths in modern times. NIBF is an institute which is working tremendously towards empowering the youths through skill-development so that their basic necessity of being employed is fulfilled. The job fair was just another step forward in this journey. Looking at the huge success of this event, the institute is planning to organize such job-fairs on a regular basis in future.
Satendra Shrivastava and Biswajit Chattaraj, Directors of NIBF extended their best wishes to all the jobseekers and also said that NIBF will keep striving for the bright future of local youth by going the extra mile.
