Continuing its crackdown against outlawed, a team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) today eliminated at least three ultras in insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, police said.

The security personnel have also arrested a cadre alive, added police.
According to police, the encounter took place in a restive forest falling in limits of Phulabgarh police station.
While undertaking search at the spot of encounter, security personnel have recovered a 315 bore pistol, a pipe bomb and other consumable items.
Security personnel undertaking anti-naxal exercise come under naxal firing when they reach forest close to Marchaguda area following which troopers retaliated. Unable to withstand the retaliatory firing of security personnel, ultras fled the spot. During the course of search, DRG troopers recovered bodies of three slain naxals and caught a cadre alive. Moreover, police also claiming more causality from naxal side.
