Raipur, June 10

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated ‘Goeld’- the first frozen food unit of private sector in Chhattisgarh at his residence through video conferencing. This unit is located in Borjhara of Urla area in Raipur. This unit established by Goyal group will manufacture vegetarian food products.

On the occasion Chief Minister said that in this time of global pandemic, when rate of unemployment is shooting up, starting of this new factory in the state is providing employment to localites.

On the occasion, Baghel congratulated Chairman of Goyal Group of Companies Suresh Goyal and people associated the group.

Chief Minister said in his address to the people present in the Borjhara based unit through video conferencing, interacted with the Chairman of Goyal Group of Companies Suresh Goyal, MLA Satyanarayan Sharma and other members and employees of the group. Chief Minister spoke to factory employees Lakshmi Nishan and Bhoomika Thakur. They told Chief Minister that they are relieved to be employed near their village, in this difficult time of pandemic.

Managing Director of the Goyal Group Narendra Goyal informed that this is the first ever frozen food industry of Chhattisgarh. Food products manufactured here are pure vegetarian. This will provide new options for vegetarian consumers. Besides, no preservative chemical and artificial colours are being used in production of the food items. 60% of the employees in this industry are women and proper arrangements have been made to ensure safety and hygiene.

Employees here are using sanitizers, masks and practicing physical distancing. Director of Goyal Group Narendra Goyal and Sandeep Goyal were also present at Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion. This frozen food unit will manufacture, aaloo parantha, garlic cheese naan, veg seekh kebab, papita halwa and sevai kheer etc.
