Graduate unemployed youth and higher secondary passed youth in scheduled areas to be registered under E-category
Unemployed youth to be provided works worth up to Rs 20 lakh through limited tender at block-level itself

On special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, ‘Integrated E-Category Registration System’ has been launched to provide employment to graduate unemployed youth and higher secondary passed youth in scheduled areas of the state under the construction works of various government departments.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, along with PWD Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu released ‘Unemployed Registration Booklet’ today at his office in Assembly premise. This booklet has been published by PWD department.
Under this scheme, graduate unemployed youth and higher secondary passed youth of scheduled areas will be registered and provided works of up to Rs 20 lakh through limited tender at block-level itself.
On the occasion Chief Minister said that that through e-category registration system, local unemployed youth will get livelihood and develop entrepreneurial skills. The scheme would not only improve the quality of works but will also ensure availability of the agency working in the remote areas.
Hence, timely completion of the construction works would be ensured. Public Works Department Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said that under this scheme, local unemployed youth will get the opportunity of self-employment and construction works will be easily executed. The quality of jobs will also improve and the problem of unemployment will be solved to a great extent.
