Took information from the doctors about the possible post-vaccination symptoms and necessary precautions to be taken
Raipur, April 10
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel arrived at Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur in the morning on April 9 and took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. After getting vaccinated, he asked the doctors about the symptoms that may appear within one to two days of vaccination.
He also took information about the necessary precautions to be taken immediately after the vaccination. Along with Health Minister T S Singhdeo, Additional Chief Secretary Health Department Renu G Pillai , State nodal officer for COVID-19 vaccination Dr. Priyanka Shukla. Baghel also inquired about the current status of vaccination in the state.
Along with Chief Minister Baghel, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and his wife Kamla Sahu also got vaccinated for COVID-19.
On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, Director of Medical Education Department Dr. R.K. Singh, Collector Dr. S. Bharathi Dasan, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Yadav, Dr. Vishnu Dutt, Dean of Raipur Medical College, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital Superintendent Dr. Vineet Jain and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Meera Baghel were also present.
