Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today made a surprise tour of village Kosmakunda (development block Bhilaigarh) district Balodabazar as a part of Lok Suraj mission ‘Redressal Camp’ . He sanctioned Rs Two crore worth developmental works on the requests of the gathering of villagers.
Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 48 lakh for the ‘Nal-Jal’ Yojana at village Senduras and Rs 32 lakh for construction of a drinking water tank at village Kot and Rs 35 lakh for Balpur. He also sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for laying of a road linking Kotadih- Sahewana , Rs 6.50 lakh for construction of anganwaadi bhawan at village Lakhridih ( Kosmakunda), Rs 10 lakh for laying of a cement road linking Salehwna-Jaitpur (Kosmakunda) , Rs 5 lakh for installation of an electric transformer at village panchayat Mohatra, Rs 9 lakh for construction of a check-dam at village Kosmakunda and ten hand-pumps at Kosmakunda cluster.
The officers informed the Chief Minister that 2475 families had been provided with domestic cooking gas connections under the Prime Minister ‘Ujjwala’ project. About 1161 families had been allocated houses under the Prime Minister Housing Project. Eleven thousand houses will be given electricity connections soon. Sixty-one families had been given ration cards under the Chief Minister Food Assistance Yojana. An amount of Rs One crore 70 lakh had been given as relief to 4565 families under the drought relief at Kosmakunda cluster. Pensions were provided at the camp to 63 families. MLA Mr. Sanam Jaangde, Chief Secretary Mr. Ajay Singh, Special Secretary to Chief minister Mr. Mukesh Bansal and a large number of villagers were also present.
