Chhattisgarh will play vital role in building new India: Union Minister Nadda

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. J.P. Nadda said that new India will become a reality by 2022 under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He was speaking at a programme ‘Sankalp Se Siddh-Naya Bharat Ka Sankalp ‘ at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh presided over the function. Citizens of the country took a pledge of ‘Bharat Chhodo Andolan’ against the Britishers in 1942 and the motherland was liberated within five years. Mr. Modi took the pledge of ‘Karenge aur Karke Rahenge’ to make new India by 2022. The nation is emerging as a great power under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

Mr. Nadda added that nation is progressing very fast in all sectors of economic development. The Union Government is keen on providing effective medicare at nominal rates to the common citizens of the country. ‘Amrut Yojana’ is part of the package of medicare to be provided to the poor patients of the country. The Centre had made ‘stents’ and knee-cap replacements reasonably cheap to the patients.

The Union Health Minister Mr. Nadda revealed that new a health project will be launched in 100 districts of the country in which ‘screening’ of patients above 30 years of age will be carried out for hypertension, Diabetes, cervical, breast and oral cancer. The patients will be treated free of cost. Some districts of Chhattisgarh also will be added to this list. Mr. Nadda hailed the rapid development of Chhattisgarh under the proven leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh. He added that the State will lead the nation in building up new India.

Dr. Raman Singh gave a pledge to the gathering for eradication of poverty, corruption, terrorism and casteism. Chief Minister added that it is the duty of all concerned citizens to contribute their mite in the rapid development of Chhattisgarh and nation by 2022.

Dr. Raman Singh said that within 17 years of the formation of the State it had made spectacular progress in power, telecommunications, laying of roads and railways network. They will play a crucial role in the development of State and nation in future. Citizens will observe the developments in Bastar and Surguja districts and say that new era had dawned in Chhattisgarh and Bharat. The State Government had completed five thousand days in power with the blessings of people. Chhattisgarh had created several new milestones during this historic journey.

Assembly Speaker Mr. Gowrishankar Agrawal, MP Mr. Ramesh Bais, Public Works Department Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat, Food Minister Mr. Punnulal Mohale, Agriculture Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal, MP Mr. Ramvichar Netam, MLA Mr. Sreechand Sundrani, Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand, prominent citizens, medical professors and students were present at the function.
