Library built at the cost of nearly Rs 1.50 crore would help students to study in peace for competitive exams

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the magnificent and well-equipped Government District Library in village Pendri of Janjgir District Headquarters on Jan 6. On the occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant, Minister In Charge of Janjgir-Champa district Mr. TS Singhdeo and MLA Mr. Ramkumar Yadav were also present.
With Inauguration of District Library, students would have quite space to study for various competitive exams such as UPSC, PSC, NEET, JEE etc. People interested in reading would also get to read books based on various genres and subjects peacefully.
This Government Digital Libray in Pendri has more than six thousand books, journals, biographies of great people. It has separate seating arrangement for students preparing for competitive exams. Library is also equipped with wifi facility, drinking water facility, toilets and locker room etc. Computer lab is also ready for digital information. On the occasion, Mr. Yashwant Kumar, SP Mrs. Parul Mathur, Jila Panchayat CEO Mr. Teerth Raj Agrawal, Departmental Officers, and dignitaries were present.
