Chief Minister extends congratulations

“Advance Cardiac Institute” in Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College of capital city Raipur has been awarded national-level Scotch Order of Merit Award.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to professors, officials and physicians of Medical College, Ambedkar Hospital and Cardiac Institute for the achievement. “Advance Cardiac Institute” was established with support of State Government, which has secured third position in the category of Scotch Award. This institute has been awarded bronze medal and certificate. Chairman of Scotch Group Mr. Sameer Kocher gave away the award in a ceremony organized on June 21 in New Delhi.

Ambedkar Hospital’s Superintendent Mr. Vivek Choudhary, Assitant Professor of Advance Cardiac Institute Dr Smit Shrivastav and Dr Altaf paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Dr Singh at his residence office and informed him about the achievement of Advance Cardiac Institute. Dr Vivek Choudhary informed that at advance cardiac institute, free treatment facility is provided to heart patients. Till date, 10 thousand heart patients have availed free treatment in advance cardiac institute, including cardiac surgery of 141 patients and angioplasty of nearly 750 patients. Heart surgeries of child patients were also performed. Chief Minister praised the free treatment facility being provided to heart patients with servitude.
