21 cadres of outlawed organization surrendered in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar

As many as 21 cadres of banned organization Communist Party of India (Maoists) including a member of PLGA Platoon-26 and Janmilitia Commander, surrendered before Bastar Police in Jagdalpur, police said today.

Lakshman Madkami, the PLGA Platoon member carries a reward of Rajnandgaon two lakh on him. Similarly Bharsuram Mandali, Janmilitia Commander and Arjun Keshyap, Member of Kutul LOS carries a reward of Rs one lakh each.

Out of the surrendered cadres 03 are from Tulsi village of Malkangiri district in Odisha

A Lady Maoist cadre Mangli Markam, Member of Chaitya Natiya Mandali of CPI ( Maoist ) also surrendered today.

The surrendered cadres were given immediate assistance fund of Rs 10000 each by Vivekanand, IG Bastar Range, Sundarraj DIG Dantewada Range, Amit Katariya, Collector Bastar and Sheikh Arif, SP Bastar District.

The surrendered Maoists would be given all assistance for their rehabilitation as per the provisions under Chhattisgarh Government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy.
