
Chief Minister participates in Sri Ram Janmotsav

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh participated in Sri Ram Janmotsav at Bhilainagar’s Ramleela Maidan. Chhattisgarh State Government is fulfilling the dreams of ‘Ram Rajya’. The authorities had been implementing the several social welfare projects for cross-sections of the society. The prosperity can be seen all-round.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that in the kingdom of Sri Ramchandra nobody went to bed on an empty stomach. The authorities had implemented highly-effective Public Distribution System (PDS) which provided Food security to all the poorer sections of the society. The malnourishment levels have fallen drastically. Rice is being provided at Re 1 a kilogram. Salt is being distributed free of cost to the beneficiaries. The problem of hunger had been solved. No one in the State goes to bed on an empty stomach.
Dr. Raman Singh said that as per spiritual historians Bhagwan Sri Ram resided in Chhattisgarh for quite some time during his sojourn to forests. While referring to ‘Ramnami tradition’ , Dr. Raman Singh said that nowhere in the globe one can find the devotees bodies engraved with the name of Lord Ram. Chief Minister said that with blessings of Lord Sri Ram , Chhattisgarh State is developing very fast. He congratulated the citizens and State Minister- Bhilai MLA Mr.Premparkash Pande for celebrating Ram Janmotsav for the past 33 years continuously.
Bhilai Ram Janmotsav in World Book of Records
The Bhilai Ram Janmotsav being celebrated continuously for the past 33 years had entered the World Book of Records. The Ram Janmotsav was celebrated in all the 871 temples in the district. The certificate was presented by Dr. Raman Singh to local MLA Mr. Premparkash Pande.
Chief Minister sanctions land for grand celebrations
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh sanctioned a large tract of land for the Sri Ramjanmotsav Samiti Bhilai. The Janmotsav will be celebrated on a grander scale in future.
