A joint team of Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) and District Force arrested three cadres of outlawed organization in insurgency-hit Narayanpur district of the state, police said today.
Following a tip-off about presence of ultras in Batumpara forest falling in limits of Orchha police station, security personnel swung into action and launched an anti-naxal exercise resulting in arrest of three rebels, said Narayanpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Singh.
SP Singh further informed that the arrested were identified as Dhurbeda DAKMS (Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisaan Mazdoor Sangthan) deputy-president Fagu Dhruva (37), Gumraka Jantana Sarkar president Kaushal alias Kosa Dhruva (26) and CNM (Chetna Natya Mandli-a frontal wing of the banned organization) member Shanti Dhruva (26). From their possession, security personnel have recovered naxal literatures and banners (displaying naxal ideology). The arrested cadres have been produced in a local court.
