“Education is the key through which individuals can achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams. It opens the doors to employment and is essential for both personal and societal development,” said Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai while addressing the Rajak Yuva Gadge Sammelan as the chief guest at CIMS Auditorium in Bilaspur.
He asserted, “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas is the core mantra of our government. Chhattisgarh has a crucial role to play in fulfilling the national resolve of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. In alignment with this national vision, we have released the Chhattisgarh Vision Document and are diligently working to bring every aspect of it to the ground.”
CM Sai formally inaugurated the State-level Gadge Sammelan by performing a ceremonial worship of Sant Gadge Maharaj. During the event, he felicitated meritorious students, intellectuals, and social workers from the Rajak community with shawls and coconut offerings in a gesture of respect.
In his address, the Chief Minister stated that the Rajak community has always embodied social harmony and a spirit of service, which continues to be exemplary. The community has a significant presence in every village of Chhattisgarh, and traditional Sanatan rituals such as weddings, naming ceremonies, and purification rites cannot be completed without their involvement.
To support and strengthen their ancestral occupation, the state government has established the Rajakkar Vikas Board, through which affordable loan facilities will be provided. He affirmed that the government is fully committed to helping the youth of the community reach new heights of success.
CM Sai further said that the state government has constituted the Good Governance and Convergence Department to curb corruption and establish transparency. “Today, most services are being delivered through online modes, which has significantly increased transparency and left little room for corruption,” he added.
He emphasized that the government is delivering on every guarantee given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “We have procured paddy at ₹3,100 per quintal. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 70 lakh women are being given ₹1,000 every month. Tendu leaves are being procured at ₹5,500 per standard sack,” he stated.
The Chief Minister highlighted that under the new industrial policy, special emphasis is being placed on creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Divyangjans. The policy has attracted investment proposals worth approximately ₹6.5 lakh crore in the past six to eight months.
The state government has also created employment opportunities in the public sector. “In the past one and a half years, nearly 10,000 government jobs have been provided. An advertisement for the recruitment of 5,000 teachers will be released shortly. A positive ecosystem is also being developed to encourage self-employment,” he said.
Reflecting on the historical context, CM Sai remembered former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, crediting him for the formation of Chhattisgarh as a separate state. He also praised former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, stating that his 15-year tenure helped liberate the state from hunger and expanded several public welfare schemes.
The event was presided over by Shri Prahlad Rajak, Chairman of the Rajakkar Vikas Board. The proceedings were conducted by renowned folk singer Smt. Rajni Rajak.
The event was attended by MLA Shri Amar Agrawal, Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Dharamjeet Singh, Shri Sushant Shukla, CREDA Chairman Shri Bhupendra Sawanni, along with several other distinguished citizens.
