Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Creates Special Stall to Promote Tourist Destinations

Chhattisgarh Tourism Board made its impressive presence felt at SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo) 2025, South Asia’s largest travel expo. A special stall was set up to promote tourist destinations in Chhattisgarh at this grand event held from February 19 to 21, 2025, which attracted the attention of tour operators, investors, and tourists from across the country.
During the expo, Vivek Acharya, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, met with tourism department officials and tour operators from various states. Mr. Acharya gave information about the state’s major tourist destinations, including Chitrakote Falls, Barnawapara Sanctuary, caves of Bastar, Sirpur, Mainpat, through a presentation. He also highlighted tourism development and investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
Vivek Acharya said, “Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and the tourism policies of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s government are helping it emerge as a major tourist destination.” He informed that the state government is working on several new schemes to create a favorable environment for tourists and investors.
The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board’s stall at SATTE 2025 remained the center of attraction at the expo, where a large number of tour and travel agencies, industry experts, and tourism enthusiasts participated. The expo received an encouraging response regarding Chhattisgarh’s tourist destinations and possibilities, which makes it clear that the state will soon establish a strong identity among the country’s top tourist destinations.
Tour operators and travel agents from various states also did their spot registration with the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board at the SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo) stall so that they could get the benefit of tourism booking under the policies of the tourism board and tourists from other states could also visit the attractive tourist places of Chhattisgarh in maximum numbers. This small beginning has opened the doors of meaningful future possibilities for the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board.
On this occasion held at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, General Manager of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Shri Vedvrat Sirmaur, Deputy General Manager Shri Sandeep Thakur, and various officers were present. They met with tour and travel agencies, government officials, and investors and discussed the state’s tourist destinations, schemes, and investment opportunities in detail.
