Chhattisgarh Tableau Selected for ‘Ekta Parade 2025’: CM VSai Congratulates Team

Raipur, October 14
Chhattisgarh’s tableau has been officially selected for display at the Ekta Parade 2025, to be held at Ekta Nagar (Statue of Unity), Gujarat, on National Unity Day (October 31). The announcement was made by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Along with Chhattisgarh, tableaus from Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, NDRF, and NSG have also been chosen.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the Public Relations Department of Chhattisgarh for this proud achievement. He said that the selection reflects national recognition of Chhattisgarh’s cultural diversity, folk traditions, and spirit of unity. The state’s tableau at the parade will vividly portray the idea of “Unity in Diversity,” which defines Chhattisgarh’s heritage and identity.
According to the Chief Minister, this year’s tableau will focus on Bastar’s transformation and development journey. Designed by the Department of Public Relations, it will depict Bastar’s tribal identity, traditional dance forms, ethnic attire, Dhokra metal craft, tribal paintings, and the blend of heritage with modern progress. The central theme of the tableau is — “Bastar on the Path of Change: From Struggle to Development, From Fear to Faith.”
The display will highlight how a region once known for conflict and isolation is now being recognized for peace, prosperity, and growth — through major strides in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and industries.
The Chief Minister added that the state’s rehabilitation and development-oriented policies have brought lasting transformation to areas once affected by extremism. The tableau will not only capture the cultural essence of Bastar but also reflect the broader narrative of Chhattisgarh’s unity, pride, and progress.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the grand parade and witness the tableaus of all selected states. The event aims to celebrate India’s unity, integrity, and cultural diversity on one platform.
CM Sai said that Chhattisgarh’s tableau will reinforce Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” presenting before the nation an inspiring example of the state’s rich cultural legacy, developmental progress, and enduring social harmony.
