Chhattisgarh has achieved remarkable success in the Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan organized under the aegis of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi. The state secured 3rd place nationwide in the strike rate target and 9th place overall in Prakriti Parikshan standards.

For this achievement, Union Minister of AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shri Pratap Rao Jadhav awarded Chhattisgarh with a certificate of appreciation and a trophy. The award was received by the state coordinator of the campaign, Dr. Sanjay Shukla, at the closing ceremony held at Jehangir Bhabha Theatre, Mumbai.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the officials and employees of the AYUSH Department, stating that this recognition is a testament to Chhattisgarh’s growing excellence in health and Ayurveda. He emphasized that this achievement will further strengthen AYUSH-based healthcare services in the state.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also extended his congratulations, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to expanding and enhancing AYUSH-based healthcare services. He added that such initiatives not only raise public awareness about health but also help integrate natural healing methods into mainstream healthcare.

Chhattisgarh’s Strong Presence in the National Campaign
The Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan was conducted from November 26 to December 25, 2024, during which over 1.29 crore citizens across the country underwent Prakriti testing. Chhattisgarh made a strong impact at the national level, successfully testing more than 4.45 lakh citizens.

Additionally, recognizing the importance of this initiative, over 40,000 officers and personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, also underwent Prakriti testing in Chhattisgarh. This reflects the growing awareness and trust in AYUSH medicine.
