Chhattisgarh is receiving immense support from the central government due to the double engine government: CM Sai

Respected Atal ji created the state of Chhattisgarh, and our resolve is that we will all work together to develop Chhattisgarh. With the formation of a double engine government, Chhattisgarh is receiving immense support from the central government. Recently, the central government has also approved several railway projects along with road and air connectivity. He said that our government has completed most of the work guaranteed by Modi in just one year. In the sequence of Sabka Saath, Sabka Prayas, and Sabka Vikas, the wheel of development is now spinning rapidly in Mahasamund district. In the coming times, the pace of development will accelerate further.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said this while addressing a function to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development works in Mahasamund.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 419 development works costing Rs. 217.17 crore. Of these, 335 works worth Rs. 111 crore were inaugurated and 84 works worth Rs. 106 crore were laid the foundation stone. In the program, 271 beneficiaries were given materials worth about one and a quarter crore rupees.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that Prime Minister Modi had guaranteed the approval of 18 lakh houses for the poor. Fulfilling it, our government approved houses for homeless beneficiaries on the very second day of taking the oath. Now, approval for another three and a half lakh houses will be given.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Sai said that Mahasamund district has immense tourism potential. The ancient city of Sirpur and the deity Lord Gandheshwarnath Mahadev are famous all over the country. We are making rapid efforts to include the Lakshman Temple in the World Heritage List. Kodar reservoir is being developed in the field of eco-tourism. At the same time, work is also underway to beautify Shishupal Parvat.

Chief Minister Sai said that we have laid the foundation stone for the widening of the main road of Mahasamund district headquarters from Baronda Chowk Mahasamund to Bamhani and the construction of bridges. Now the movement on this route will be easy. Similarly, the foundation stone has also been laid for the widening of the Mahasamund-Tumgaon-Achhola road and the construction of seven maternity homes. Our government is continuously working to provide better health facilities. Mahasamund has secured the first rank in the state in the Nikshay Nirmay Chhattisgarh scheme. By making 292 gram panchayats out of a total of 551 gram panchayats in Mahasamund district TB-free, Mahasamund has secured the first position in Chhattisgarh. A central library is being constructed at the heart of Mahasamund. A synthetic track has been built for the players. In this way, work is being done for the intellectual and integrated development of the youth.
Chief Minister Shri Say said that our government is purchasing paddy from farmer brothers at the rate of 21 quintals per acre and Rs. 3100 per quintal. Following the guarantee given on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister respected Atal ji as Good Governance Day, we have also paid the two-year pending paddy bonus to the farmers. He said that this year, with good rainfall and good crops, it is estimated that 160 lakh metric tonnes of paddy will be procured.
He said that the state government is sending the devotees of the state to see Lord Ram under the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana. So far, 20 thousand Ram devotees have benefited from the darshan of Ramlala. Under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, we are paying Rs. 1000 per month to more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters of the state. More than two and a quarter lakh mothers and sisters of Mahasamund district are benefiting from this scheme.
The program was also addressed by MP Smt. Rupkumari Chaudhary, Mahasamund MLA Shri Yogeshwar Raju Sinha, and Basna MLA Shri Sampat Agrawal. A large number of common people were present on the occasion along with local public representatives.
