Chhattisgarh Government Fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision by Providing Pucca Houses to Poor Families: Chief Minister Sai

Raipur, 29 May

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today took part in a Good Governance Camp organized in Bhainsa village, Raipur district. On the occasion, he flagged off 10 awareness vehicles as part of the nationwide ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’, being conducted under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from 29 May to 12 June.

During the camp, the Chief Minister handed over keys to 110 pucca houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized that PM Modi’s vision is that no poor family in India should live in a kutcha (temporary) house. The Chhattisgarh government has already approved more than 1.8 million PMAY homes to fulfill this commitment. Remaining eligible families will be included under the ‘Awas Plus Plus’ scheme, he added.
