Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma called the Chhattisgarh Budget 2025-26 a historic step toward the state’s development. He stated that this budget aligns with the vision of ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’ and will pave a new path of progress for Chhattisgarh.

He emphasized that the budget clearly reflects the plan to advance the GYAN (Garib, Yuva, Annadata, Nari) development goals through GATI (Good Governance, Accelerated Infrastructure, Technology, and Industrial Growth).

Deputy CM Sharma highlighted major financial allocations aimed at strengthening the state’s economic structure, infrastructure, and development projects.

Key Budget Announcements
Strengthening Law & Order
Five new cyber police stations to be established in Baloda Bazar, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Janjgir-Champa, and Jashpur.
Three new women’s police stations in Korba, Janjgir-Champa, and Surajpur to enhance women’s safety.
₹40 crore allocated for upgrading the Integrated Command & Control Center in Nava Raipur.
₹70 crore for modernizing and strengthening police stations.
₹44 crore for setting up new fire stations.
Panchayat & Rural Development
₹8,500 crore allocated for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) to provide housing for thousands of families.
Special budgetary provisions under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana for the construction and repair of rural roads, ensuring better connectivity between villages and cities.
Education & Employment
24 government polytechnic colleges and ITI institutes to be upgraded, enhancing technical education.
₹25 crore allocated for the infrastructure development of Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU).
State government to focus on expanding the use of digital technologies in science and technology.
₹25 crore allocated for the operation and maintenance of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS).

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma emphasized that the budget caters to every section of society, with significant financial provisions for farmers, youth, women, and various communities. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Chhattisgarh a self-reliant and prosperous state, taking crucial steps in this direction through this budget.
