Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s visit to Gujarat has emerged as a landmark moment for Chhattisgarh — weaving together new partnerships in development, technical education, cultural exchange, and industrial investment. In Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Sai paid a courtesy visit to his Gujarat counterpart, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The two leaders discussed the collective role of states in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat.”
“India’s strength lies in its federal unity,” said Sai. “The partnership between Gujarat and Chhattisgarh will stand as an example of cooperative development in the new India.”
During the meeting, Sai presented Chief Minister Patel with Bastar Art and a coffee-table book titled “Bastar Dussehra,” symbolizing Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage. Patel extended his appreciation for Chhattisgarh’s artistic traditions and conveyed warm wishes on the state’s Silver Jubilee year.
The exchange highlighted the role of culture as a bridge of emotional and civilizational connection between the two states.

The Chief Minister announced plans to develop Nava Raipur as a major hub for IT and AI-driven data centers.
