Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated the security forces for their major success in anti-Naxal operations in Bijapur. The Chief Minister said that a joint team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and the Special Task Force (STF) of Chhattisgarh Police has so far neutralized six Naxalites in an ongoing encounter. He described this as a significant achievement in the direction of the complete eradication of Red Terror and commended the bravery of the forces.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Naxalism is now in its final phase. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, a resolve has been made to eliminate Naxalism from the country and the state by March 31, 2026. This operation marks another decisive step toward fulfilling that commitment. The Government of Chhattisgarh is advancing this mission with full dedication and determination.

He added that the courage and resolute spirit of the security forces are the greatest strength of this campaign. Today, in areas once affected by Naxal violence, the flow of development is gaining momentum, and fear is steadily being replaced by trust and peace. The Chief Minister saluted the valor of the personnel engaged in this anti-Naxal operation and said that the people of Chhattisgarh will always remember their bravery and sacrifice.
