Blessings of Saints, Resolve for Public Service: Chief Minister Sai’s Devotional Presence at Vishwa Shanti Akhand Brahma Yagya

Raipur, March 28

The sentiment of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family) is deeply embedded in India’s ancient tradition. This is the thought that makes India unique in the world – where diverse deities and traditions coexist like one family. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai shared this message while addressing the inaugural session of the three-day ‘Vishwa Shanti Akhand Brahma Yagya’ held at the Goss Memorial Ground in Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed the saints and devotees to the sacred land of Chhattisgarh and wished for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

Sanatan Tradition Has Withstood Every Assault, Yet Remains Unbroken

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that India has been the land of saints, sages, and ascetics. The Sanatan tradition has faced numerous challenges over time, yet it has never broken. The Yagya, organized by the Satya Sanatan Alekh Mahima Dharma Vikas Samiti, is an inspiring initiative aimed at further strengthening this tradition.

He added that he shares a special bond with the saints of Alekh Mahima. Their blessings have been instrumental in guiding him in public service. He mentioned that ashrams of saints have been established in villages like Ila in Jashpur, Sariya in Raigarh, and Himgir. The Chief Minister assured the saints that he would provide land for an ashram in Raipur as well.

Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme Becomes a Path of Devotion Once Again

Chief Minister Shri Sai announced that the state government has revived the ‘Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme,’ which had been completely discontinued during the previous government’s tenure. He shared that just yesterday, he had sent off 780 devotees on a pilgrimage to Rameshwaram, Madurai, and Tirupati. He expressed that the inner satisfaction he felt while bidding them farewell was indescribable. He further mentioned that Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Kaushalya and Lord Shri Ram’s maternal home, and the values like those of Shravan Kumar are still alive among the people. He stated that organizing pilgrimages is not just a scheme, but a respect for our values and traditions.

Thousands of Devotees Benefited from Shri Ram Lalla Ayodhya Dham Darshan Scheme

Chief Minister Shri Sai added that under the ‘Shri Ram Lalla Ayodhya Dham Darshan Scheme,’ more than 22,000 devotees have already visited Lord Shri Ram and Kashi Vishwanath. He also discussed the Rajim Kumbh, which has become a spiritual identity of the state.

The program was also addressed by Saints Shri Kishore Chandra Baba, Shri Vasudev Baba, Shri Udaynath Baba, along with MLAs Shri Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, and Sampat Agarwal, who praised the event and its significance.
