In light of state government’s aim to provide enhanced health facilities to citizens, Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal on Friday approved a fund of Rs 10 crore for construction of Super-speciality hospital in Dhimrapal, Jagdalpur of Bastar district.
“Improved health facilities should be available to the residents of Bastar district,” said Shri Jaiswal.
Health Minister chaired meeting of the autonomous committee in the council hall of Late Shri Baliram Kashyap Smriti Government Medical College located in Dhimrapal. During which he directed the completion of the construction work of new Super-speciality hospital in two months. He assured government’s support and necessary resource required for its completion.
The minister directed to ensure recruitment of adequate manpower required for hospitality management including at posts like help desk in the hospital, qualified security personnel under the leadership of ex-servicemen for the hospital, CCTV arrangements, and alarm arrangements in every room for emergency. Hence, instructions were given for timely raise of proposals for infrastructure and human resources.
In the autonomous committee meeting, detailed discussions were held related to vacant posts, requirement of diagnostic equipment, additional budget required for AMC-CMC, recruitment of human resources in the new Super-speciality hospital Dimrapal and necessary resource points were discussed.
Apart from this, emphasized were given on increasing the accommodation capacity of the hostel after the increase in the number of students, requirement of lecture theatre, staff quarters, disposal of bio-medical waste, construction of utility centre, canteen, gymnasium for students in context of its income and expenditure of autonomous item were also discussed.
During the inspection, MP Mr Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Mr Kiran Singh Deo, MLA Chitrakoot Mr Vinayak Goyal, former MP Mr Dinesh Kashyap, ACS Mr Manoj Pingua, NHM Mission Director Mr Jagdish Sonkar, Collector Mr Vijay Dayaram K, Superintendent of Police Mr Shalabh Sinha were present.
