Better facilities for patients in new year on initiative of CM Sai

On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, there is a continuous expansion of medical facilities available to the common people in government hospitals. Efforts are being made to ensure that medical facilities are easily and readily available to all people at the beginning of the new year itself, on the instructions of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. On January 1, 2025, a room has been started on all floors for the facility of the Shahid Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Health Scheme at the Swami Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji Memorial Government Hospital, Raigarh, affiliated with the Late Shri Lakhiram Agrawal Memorial Government Medical College. Finance Minister and local MLA of Raigarh, Shri O.P. Chaudhary has welcomed this initiative being taken for the smooth availability of health services.
According to the Principal of Raigarh Medical College, Dr. Vinit Kumar Jain, and the Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. M.K. Minj, this expansion of facilities will be of great convenience to the admitted patients and their relatives. This will avoid unnecessary crowding and queues and save time. Earlier, this facility was available only near the MRD registration OPD counter. According to the Hospital Superintendent Dr. M.K. Minj, with the expansion of the Ayushman Yojana room, now there is no need to cut separate test slips for OPD and IPD patients in the hospital. All tests are completely free. Apart from the Rs 10 registration slip for OPD and Rs 85 slip for IPD patients, there is no need to cut separate slips. An order has also been issued in this regard.
Along with this, a new initiative has been taken by setting up a suggestion and complaint box in the hospital. Also, feedback is being taken daily by medical social workers and professional counselors regarding the treatment of patients admitted in the ward. The letters and feedback received in the suggestion and complaint box will be placed in the committee by the hospital management and its resolution will be ensured.
