Another Historic Step Towards the Complete Eradication of Naxalism: 26 Hardcore Naxals Surrendered in Dantewada

The Chhattisgarh government has achieved another major success in its decisive campaigns against Naxalism. Today, 26 hardcore Naxals surrendered before the security forces in Dantewada district, marking a testament to the success and credibility of the state’s new Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy – 2025.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended heartfelt congratulations to the security personnel and stated that the state’s commitment to the complete eradication of Naxalism is continuously gaining success. The “Niyad Nella Nara” scheme and “Loan Varratu” campaign, aimed at connecting tribal youth to the mainstream, have played a significant role in this achievement.

Chief Minister Shri Sai further mentioned that the positive outcomes of the announcement by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, declaring Naxal-affected villages as Naxal-free with a special aid of ₹1 crore, are now becoming evident. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the state has pledged to completely free itself from Naxal terrorism by March 31, 2026. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that this goal will certainly be achieved within the set timeframe. He emphasized that this is not just a campaign but a mission for the peace, security, and prosperity of Chhattisgarh.
