Under the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, continuous efforts are being made to expand healthcare facilities in the state. This journey of progress and good governance in the expansion of health facilities is continuously moving forward. In this series, to reduce the increasing pressure of patients in Mekahara, Raipur, the tender process for the construction of a new 700-bed integrated hospital building in the campus has been started. It is noteworthy that in this year’s budget, provision was made for a new 700-bed integrated hospital in the Mekahara campus, the construction process of which has now started.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai, continuous decisions are being taken for capital expenditure so that better resources can be made available for treatment in the state. Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal is laying special emphasis on improving health facilities and developing new facilities.
On the issuance of an e-tender worth Rs 231 crore for the new 700-bed integrated hospital building in the Mekahara campus, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that increasing health facilities in the state is his first priority. He said that with the construction of this integrated hospital, people will have a well-equipped hospital in addition to the Mekahara hospital. This will provide better treatment facilities to the people of Raipur and the entire state, and people will get maximum benefit of health facilities.
Detailed information regarding the e-tender will be available on the CGMSC website www.cgmsc.gov.in from December 10. A pre-bid meeting for this will be held at the CGMSC headquarters on December 19 at 11 am. The last date for submitting online tenders will be January 2, 2025, and this tender will open on January 6, 2025.
