Violence-Free, Safe and Prosperous Bastar Is Our Resolve: CM Sai

Raipur, December 18

Taking to his social media handle X on Thursday, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said the state government is firmly resolved to free Bastar from violence and steer it on the path of peace, development and trust. Referring to the precise, courageous and successful operation carried out by security forces in the Gondiguda area of Sukma district, he said the action has dealt a strong blow to the Maoist network, clearly signalling that the era of violence in Bastar is drawing to a close and that the region is rapidly moving towards development and integration with the mainstream.

CM Shri Sai said that under the strong leadership and clear policy of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the sustained and effective actions of security forces, the state government’s sensitive rehabilitation policy, and the unwavering support of the local population, a decisive transformation is visible in Bastar. The Maoist structure is continuously weakening and their violent conspiracies are becoming increasingly ineffective.

The Chief Minister said the government’s message is clear—those who abandon the path of violence and choose to join the mainstream of society will be assured rehabilitation, livelihood, security and a dignified future. The state government stands with all such individuals with a humane approach. However, there will be no sympathy from the government for those who continue to pursue the path of weapons and fear.

CM Shri Sai expressed confidence that through collective efforts centred on peace, development and public participation, Bastar will rapidly move towards a safe, prosperous and bright future.
