Raipur, November 20
In a decisive step towards ensuring transparency, accountability and real-time oversight in the State’s paddy procurement operations, Chhattisgarh Government has established an Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) for the ongoing Kharif Marketing Year 2025–26. As the large-scale procurement drive, which commenced on November 15, continues at full pace, the ICCC has been tasked with closely monitoring every stage of paddy and rice procurement across the State, thereby strengthening supervision and curbing irregularities.
Food Department has emphasized that the ICCC will function as a centralised monitoring hub, ensuring continuous oversight of procurement activities in all districts. This system is expected to significantly enhance process integrity and help safeguard the interests of registered farmers selling paddy at the Minimum Support Price.
The Government has also urged farmers and citizens to actively support this effort. Anyone with information regarding illegal storage, transportation or sale of paddy may report it immediately by calling the toll-free number 1800-233-2310. The service is free of charge, and authorities have assured that the identity and details of informants will remain completely confidential.
