Registration of farmers on the AgriStack portal is mandatory for paddy procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) during the Kharif Marketing Year 2025-26 by the Food and Civil Supplies Department.
Food Secretary Smt. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale informed that the AgriStack portal is a Unified Agriculture Database developed by the Government of India, where farmers’ land and Aadhaar-linked registrations are carried out. Upon registration, farmers receive a Unique Farmer ID. This Aadhaar-linked database will play a significant role in ensuring that the benefits of various government schemes reach only the truly eligible farmers.
In Chhattisgarh, farmers are paid directly for paddy procurement at MSP. Therefore, the government intends that all eligible farmers receive the genuine benefit of this scheme with good governance and transparency. Last year, 25.49 lakh farmers sold paddy in the state. The Aadhaar-based registration and e-KYC system on AgriStack will ensure greater transparency, accuracy, and accountability in the entire process. The AgriStack portal will prove to be a milestone in the direction of the digital revolution, making the paddy procurement system in Chhattisgarh transparent, accurate, and farmer-friendly. For any information or assistance related to the AgriStack portal, the toll-free number 1800-233-1030 can be contacted.
So far, 21.47 lakh farmers have registered on the AgriStack portal this year. The remaining farmers can complete their registration by visiting their nearest cooperative society or designated center by October 31, 2025. Necessary instructions in this regard have already been issued to all societies and District Collectors.
It is noteworthy that the Digital Crop Survey has been conducted in 13,879 villages out of 20,000 villages in the state this year. The reports of this Digital Crop Survey and the manual Girdawari (crop inspection) are being read out in the Gram Sabhas (Village Assemblies) from October 2 to October 14, 2025. Notifications have been made public in every Panchayat (Munadi) and the survey list has also been displayed (pasted) at the Panchayat buildings. This is being continuously monitored by the District Collector, Food Officers, and senior administrative officials. This initiative is a strong and visionary step by the state towards “Digital Agriculture and Good Governance.”
