Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, another major step has been taken towards strengthening the education system in the state. Today, the Finance Department of the State Government has given its consent for the recruitment of 5000 teacher posts. This decision is in line with Chief Minister Shri Sai’s announcement, in which he expressed his commitment to strengthen the state’s educational structure and ensure quality education.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that education is the foundation of any state’s progress, and the Chhattisgarh government’s objective is that every child receives both knowledge and opportunities. He stated that this recruitment will not only accelerate the teaching system but will also generate new employment opportunities for the youth. Chief Minister Shri Sai described the consent given by the Finance Department as a ‘historical step towards the formation of a New Chhattisgarh.’ The Education Department will soon commence the recruitment process for these 5000 posts. Filling these positions will largely address the shortage of teachers in rural and tribal areas, leading to significant improvement in the continuity and quality of education.
The State Government has taken several important decisions related to education reform in the last few months. The aim is to take the quality of education in the state to new heights through the construction of school buildings, the dissemination of digital education material, and teacher training programs.
The shortage of teachers has long been a major challenge in the state. The availability of subject-wise teachers was limited in many rural areas. The new recruitment will strengthen the education system in these areas, providing children with an opportunity to receive better education in their own villages and regions. Furthermore, this initiative will help bring the standard of education in the state on par with the national average.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai, the state government is continuously investing in education, considering it the basis of all-round development. From the modernization of school infrastructure to scholarships, midday meals, and student-friendly schemes, the government’s focus is on broadening the scope of education at every level. This new recruitment of teachers is part of that long-term vision, which is progressing towards realizing the vision of a ‘Developed Chhattisgarh.’ While this decision will inject new energy into the education system, it will also open the path for the dreams of thousands of youths to be realized. This initiative will prove to be a decisive step towards an ‘Educated, Capable, and Self-Reliant Chhattisgarh’ under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
“In line with the intent of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai ji, education has been made the state’s top priority. The Finance Department’s consent for the recruitment of 5000 teacher posts is part of this resolve. Every investment made in education is an investment in the state’s future. This decision will resolve the teacher shortage in schools, improve the quality of education in rural and tribal areas, and create employment opportunities for thousands of youths. Providing resources to fundamental sectors like education while maintaining fiscal discipline is both the responsibility and the commitment of our government.” – Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary
“Education is the most powerful foundation for the state’s development. Our government’s resolve is that every child in Chhattisgarh receives quality education and that qualified teachers are available in every school. The Finance Department’s consent for the recruitment of 5000 teacher posts is a major step in that direction. This decision will not only empower the education sector but will also increase employment opportunities for the youth of the state.” – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai
