CM Sai Extends Heartfelt Greetings for Chhath Festival

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the great festival of Sun worship, Chhath Puja. He said that Chhath Puja is a festival of faith, purity, and gratitude towards nature, which conveys the message of the sweet relationship between humanity and nature through the worship of Surya Dev (Sun God) and Chhath Maiya.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that every ritual of the Chhath festival—from offering Arghya (offering of water) to the setting sun to worshipping the rising sun—demonstrates the importance of discipline, self-restraint, and cleanliness in life. This festival strengthens the spirit of community, sanctity, and family unity in society. He appealed to the people of the state to take a pledge on this occasion for environmental protection, the cleanliness of water sources, and maintaining harmony in society, alongside the worship of the Sun.
