The Chhattisgarh Housing Board is fulfilling the dream of providing well-equipped housing to people from the middle and lower-income groups in urban areas of the state. In the last six months alone, the Board has sold 2,230 properties and earned a record revenue of ₹435 crores — significantly more than the revenue generated over the past five years. The One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme-2 has proven to be a game changer in this achievement.

Housing and Environment Minister Mr. O.P. Choudhary stated that the goal is not just to sell properties but to ensure every family has a safe and dignified roof over their heads. This achievement is the result of the trust shown by beneficiaries and the dedication of the team. He added that the department will now work even more swiftly toward providing quality-based housing.

Chairman of the Housing Board, Mr. Anurag Singh Deo, said that the Board plans to launch affordable housing projects in the near future. Efforts are underway to simplify and make the digital registration, e-housing, and payment processes more transparent. He mentioned that in just six months, the dream of owning a home has come true for over 2,200 families. The Board aims to make Chhattisgarh a leading state in the housing revolution.

Historically, the Housing Board has sold an average of 1,387 properties annually, generating approximately ₹262 crores in revenue each year. However, between March 2025 and August 2025 alone, the Board sold 2,230 properties, earning ₹435 crores. Under the Atal Vihar and General Housing Schemes, 1,070 properties were sold for ₹259 crores, while 1,160 properties were sold under the OTS-2 scheme at up to 30% discount, generating ₹176 crores in revenue.

The One-Time Settlement Scheme-2, implemented by the Chhattisgarh government this year, has brought significant relief to the general public. Under this scheme, 1,160 properties were sold for ₹176 crores. In contrast, under the previously implemented OTS-1 scheme (from September 2021 to March 2024), only 506 properties were sold for ₹88 crores over a span of three years.
