CM Sai’s Resolution – The Unfinished Dream of Development Will Now Be Fulfilled, Infrastructure Development in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai District to Gain New Momentum

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony held at village Pipariya in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, said that although the district was formed during the previous government, serious attention was not given to the development of its basic infrastructure. He stated that his government has taken the initiative to correct this shortcoming, and now Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai will be equipped with robust infrastructure and modern facilities to ensure its all-round development.

During the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced a historic package of 71 development projects worth ₹611.21 crore for Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district. This includes the foundation stone laying of 18 projects worth ₹470.98 crore and the inauguration of 53 completed projects worth ₹140.23 crore.

The Chief Minister said that these development works mark a strong beginning toward realizing the dream of a developed Khairagarh. He assured the people that the dreams cherished by the elders, youth, mothers, and sisters of the district would be fulfilled. Respecting public sentiment, he made several announcements including:

Development of Pailimeta as a tourism site,

Construction of a high-level water tank in Chhuikhadan at a cost of ₹50 lakh,

Opening of a “Paan Café” to promote betel leaf farming,

Construction of a fully-equipped 500-seater auditorium in Khairagarh, and

Establishment of a college in Mudhipar.

He assured that these projects would be included in the upcoming financial year’s budget.

Chief Minister Shri Sai shared his emotional and personal connection with Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, and Manpur-Mohla. Now, as the leader of the state, he is committed to leading Chhattisgarh on the path of development with full dedication and sincerity. He said that in the past one and a half years, the government has rapidly implemented welfare schemes for all sections of society and is taking concrete steps to fulfill the guarantees given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

To protect the interests of farmers, he said the government is purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre at a support price of ₹3,100 per quintal, thereby ensuring farmers receive fair and profitable rates. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned and construction is progressing rapidly, providing employment to skilled workers like masons and construction laborers in villages.

He highlighted the “Mahtari Vandan Yojana” as a revolutionary initiative to make women economically self-reliant. He informed that forms for the scheme will soon be refilled. Currently, 70 lakh women in the state are receiving monthly financial assistance under this scheme, and many have also started their own businesses.

The Chief Minister also mentioned:

An increase in the procurement price for tendu leaf collectors,

Financial assistance of ₹10,000 each to 5.62 lakh landless agricultural laborers in the state,

And under the Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, 22,000 devotees have so far visited Ayodhya.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that with public cooperation, the Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district will soon become one of the leading districts of the state with strong infrastructure and inclusive development.

Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Raman Singh stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to procure 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at ₹3,100 per quintal. He emphasized that the government’s objective is not just to design schemes, but to ensure their 100% implementation so that benefits reach the last person standing in the queue.

On this occasion, Industry Minister Shri Lakhhan Lal Dewangan, Member of Parliament Shri Santosh Pandey, Khairagarh MLA Smt. Yashoda Verma, and several other public representatives, officials, and dignitaries were present.
