26 Agniveers Pay Courtesy Visit to Chief Minister Sai

Raipur, 14 September
A group of 26 selected Agniveers from Balrampur district paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today. The Chief Minister warmly encouraged the youth, saying that their achievement is not only a matter of pride for their families, villages, and district, but also a moment of honor for the entire state of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the Agniveer scheme offers young people a golden opportunity to serve the nation by joining the armed forces. Congratulating the selected candidates, he emphasized that discipline, dedication to duty, and patriotism are the keys to achieving greater heights of success. He expressed confidence that by joining the army, these young men and women will safeguard the nation’s borders and become a source of inspiration for future generations.
Among the selected Agniveers from Balrampur district were:
Pinku Paikara, Jindal, Vikas Paikara, Prakash Singh, Khel Sai, Aryan, Dev Nandan Panna, Narendra Yadav, Ranjit Kerketta, Ramesh Paikara, Priyanshu, Sanoj, Nikita Narsingh, Shashi Kiran, Sohan Lal, Mahendra Paikara, Mithlesh Paikara, Chhontu, Bajju Paikara, Pankaj, Vivek Paikara, Vidhayak Paikara, Kishun Paikara, Sobhnath Paikara, Amit Kujur, and Angel Lakra.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the commendable efforts of guest teacher Shri Sudarshan Yadav and his team, who provided free army recruitment training. Out of the 30 youth trained under this initiative, 26 were successfully selected as Agniveers.
