24-Hour Emergency Medical Services to Continue at Ambedkar Hospital on occasion of Holi

On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and under the guidance of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, arrangements have been made to ensure smooth medical services at Ambedkar Hospital during the Holi festival. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar has instructed doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, and other relevant departments to stay on alert.
Considering the potential accidents or emergency medical situations during Holi, instructions have been issued to keep the emergency medical services operational 24 hours a day. Since March 14, the day of Holi, is a government holiday, the OPD (Outpatient Department) will remain closed; however, emergency services will continue to be available 24/7.
Special Arrangements for Emergency Medical Services
The emergency wards have been stocked with life-saving medicines and essential resources to ensure adequate availability. Medical staff have been instructed to stay on alert to provide immediate assistance when needed. All doctors and paramedical staff have been directed to be ready for emergency duties. The trauma and emergency units have been specially strengthened to ensure timely treatment for patients.
Tightened Security Arrangements
Security guards and armed personnel have been deployed at the hospital premises to prevent any untoward incidents. The security supervisor has been instructed to exercise special vigilance, and security staff has been directed to increase their alertness. In case of emergencies, coordination with the local police has been arranged to maintain law and order.
Ambulance Service to DKS Hospital
To ensure that seriously ill patients receive the necessary medical care, an ambulance service between Ambedkar Hospital and the Super Specialty Department at DKS Hospital will remain operational 24 hours a day. The hospital administration has urged all citizens to celebrate Holi with caution and to make use of the hospital’s emergency services in case of any medical emergency without panic.
